Animal Behaviour Level 3

The Distance Learning Animal Behaviour course will help you develop a solid understanding of ethology or animal behaviour and will guide you through the units covering the key theories that have influenced studies in the past.

Understanding ethology or animal behaviour can be important in animal training. Considering the natural behaviours of different species or breeds enables the trainer to select the individuals best suited to perform the required task. It also enables the trainer to encourage the performance of naturally occurring behaviours and also the discontinuance of undesirable behaviours.

There are no exams at the end of this course and assessments are based purely on coursework only.

The completion of this course alone does not lead to an Ofqual regulated qualification, but may be used as evidence of knowledge and skills towards regulated qualifications in the future. The unit summary can be used as evidence towards your Recognition of Prior Learning if you wish to progress your studies in this sector.
